Information we process
We may process account details, curriculum level, linked parent or teacher relationships, chat questions and responses, learning activity, topic mastery, uploaded educational images, subscription status, payment references, device permissions and technical security logs.
Why we use it
Information is used to authenticate users, deliver subject-based tutoring, calculate progress, enforce plan limits, link authorised adults and educators, verify subscriptions, prevent misuse, provide support and improve platform reliability.
Camera, microphone and uploads
Camera and microphone access is requested only when a user chooses the relevant feature. Educational images may be processed to answer a question. Do not upload private information that is not required for learning. Audio should not be retained unless the feature clearly states otherwise.
Payments
The app does not collect or store card numbers, mobile-money PINs or passwords. Users may submit a transaction reference for administrator verification after arranging payment directly with Snugtech.
Children and guardian controls
Learner accounts require parent or guardian authorisation. Parents, teachers and administrators receive access only according to their assigned role and linked learners.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell learner information. Limited information may be processed by hosting, email, messaging, security and SMART-assistance providers only as needed to operate the service or comply with law.
Security and retention
We use role-based access, password hashing, protected sessions, validation and administrative controls. Information is retained only as long as needed for the service, safety, dispute resolution and applicable legal obligations.
Your choices
Users may request access correction, support or account deletion. Device camera and microphone permissions may be denied or withdrawn in Android settings, although the relevant feature will then be unavailable.
