1. About the service
Snugtech SMART Tutor provides curriculum-aligned educational support for Primary/PSLE, Junior Certificate and BGCSE learners. It supports learning and revision; it does not replace a school, teacher, examination authority or professional advice.
2. Accounts and guardian consent
Information supplied during registration must be accurate. Learner accounts require parent or guardian authorisation. Login details must not be shared, sold or used to access another person’s account.
3. Acceptable use
Users must use the service only for lawful educational purposes. Attempts to bypass plan limits, disrupt the platform, upload harmful material, impersonate others, obtain unrelated prohibited content or misuse another learner’s information are not allowed.
4. Curriculum boundaries
SMART chat and general questions are restricted to the selected registered subject and curriculum level. Answers may contain errors and should be checked against approved learning materials and educator guidance.
5. Camera, images and voice
Only relevant educational content may be photographed or uploaded. Users must not upload another person’s private information, copyrighted examination material without authority, or unlawful content. Camera, image and voice functions require device permission and may be limited by plan.
6. Plans, fair use and activation
The app download and Free plan are free. Free includes up to 5 questions, 1 picture question and 1 voice question daily with self-service help. Pro costs BWP 250 for 30 days and includes unlimited questions subject to responsible fair use, up to 20 picture questions and 30 voice questions daily, analytics and priority support. Snugtech activates Pro only after verifying payment. Automated, shared, excessive or abusive activity may be rate-limited or suspended to protect learners and platform costs. Plan access cannot be transferred between accounts.
7. Suspension and termination
Snugtech may temporarily restrict or terminate access where these terms, security controls, payment conditions or applicable law are violated. Users may request account deletion through the published deletion page.
8. Intellectual property
The Snugtech name, logo, platform design, software and original learning features are Snugtech property. These terms do not transfer ownership or permit copying, resale, reverse engineering or redistribution of the platform.
9. Availability and liability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or perfect educational accuracy. To the extent permitted by Botswana law, Snugtech is not responsible for decisions made solely from an automated response.
